Work is now well underway on the latest North Ayrshire Council housing development in the Garnock Valley. They have contracted Ashleigh (Scotland) Ltd to transform the former Garnock Academy site into new homes.
The £12 million development – supported by £5m Scottish Government Grant - will provide a mix of general needs houses, amenity bungalows, and homes suitable for wheelchair users.
Phi Group's part in the project is to design, supply and install one of their BBA Certified Permacrib timber crib retaining walls. The completed Permacrib wall will be up to 5.15m high, 188m long and have a face area of nearly 500m2.
The Permacrib system is environmentally friendly and quick to construct, so makes it ideal for a wide range of projects, especially residential schemes.
