Gabion retaining wall & facing system at Wellington College

Working for Feltham Construction, Phi Group have carried out the design, supply and installation of a welded mesh gabion basket retaining wall at Wellington College in Crowthorne. As part of a value engineering exercise, a gabion facing system was used to provided an aesthetically similar stone filled facing to an existing concrete slope that was originally to be excavated and replaced with a gabion retaining wall.
