Phi Group has now finished construction of a Permacrib timber crib retaining wall on the site of the former Coedmore CP School at Cwmann in Lampeter, Wales. The BBA Certified Permacrib timber crib system has a design life of 60 years, is quick to construct and is aesthetically pleasing. The Permacrib wall is 90m long and retains up to 3.50m in height. The pictures show the ease with which variations in foundation and top of wall levels are dealt with. We were thrilled to be working with Sterling UK Construction Ltd and the project was a success. Sterling's Site Manager Lewis Akers agreed and commented:- "Brendan, John, Mark and Dave have done a fantastic job, not only in the construction of the wall but also in the safety and conscientiousness during its construction. They have consistently worked safely, in an organised manner and maintained the most tidy work area that could have been achieved. They really are a credit to Phi Group and they made the whole process easy and stress free for me. They were all a pleasure to deal with."
